CAVALRY (1918-1940)
In
independent Lithuania it was difficult to form the cavalry
regiments. There were not enough arms, uniforms.
Nevertheless in 1919 the first cavalry troops were
organized. During the service in the cavalry soldiers
learned to use the arms, got a speciality of a smith. To
master a hot-blooded charger was the dream of every youth.
