- A collection has
been collected for 25 years and has got 3133
exhibits. Every year new exhibits are added and
expeditions organised. There are four main
collections now.

- There are 275
exhibits in it: house holding and family life
things of the end of the19th the beginning of the
20th centuries, tools of a smith, wheel right,
roofer. The main part of this collection was
obtained in Anyksciai district and reflects the
material culture.

- It is the smallest
collection. There are 62 exhibits in it. Peasant
summer and winter horse-carriages, which were
common to all ethnographical regions at the
beginning of the 20th century is the basis of this
collection. Fire station carriage with the stock
takes a special place.

- There are 200
implements in the collection. They were used from
the end of the 19th century till the 7th decade of
the 20th century You can see horse implements and
agricultural machines, harness, iron horse-lock,
saddles-light and cavalry and horseshoes of
different sizes.

- It is the biggest
collection, which is divided into 459 sets. The
basis is the philately collection about horses.
Jonas Gelazevicius gave it to the Museum. The
period of exhibits is from the third decade of
the20th century till 1993. Here you can see stamps
published in Lithuania and foreign countries,
envelopes, post cards, paper money, coins of
1922-1941 and after 1990. Emigrant Povilas
Virbickas presented the collection of postcards
and stamps with horses and agricultural implements
to the Museum.
