At the beginning of the 20th century maneges appeared in Lithuania. It is mechanical equipment turned by a horse and used for braking flax, grinding grain. Horses, going round, turn a grinding stone threshers, flax swinging and flax breaking machines.The manege is connected to horse grindstones.
