JURGIS KAZLAUSKAS CARVING EXPOSITION
 
Jurgis Kazlauskas began to carve in 1966, when he was 52. At first his pieces of work were primitive, small glued on a wooden board. Later they became more original and skilful. Jurgis Kazlauskas was a village philosopher. His carved things depicted positive or negative traits of character, he honoured writers, showing their characters in his carvings.
There were articles about him in local and national press, he made exhibitions in Anyksciai, Panevezys, Vilnius, Moscow.
